For your convenience, your Plan will automatically renew on each anniversary of your Coverage Date (the “Anniversary Date”) unless:
You notify Able Fix Appliance Repair before your Anniversary Date that you do not wish to renew, or
We notify you before your Anniversary Date that your Plan will not be renewed.
This Plan covers single-family residential properties only, including houses, townhomes, condominiums, apartments, modular homes, or manufactured homes that are permanently affixed to a foundation.
This Plan does not cover:
Equipment located in commercial properties or residences used for business purposes,
Common areas or shared systems in multi-unit dwellings,
Multiple units of the same equipment (coverage applies to the first unit serviced only).
Able Fix Appliance Repair reserves the right to cancel or discontinue your Plan at any time. If the Plan has been prepaid in full, any applicable refund will be issued on a pro-rata basis. We will complete any service requests submitted prior to cancellation.
If you are paying in installments and the Plan is canceled by you or due to non-compliance (including non-payment), you will be responsible for any remaining balance unless otherwise stated herein.
You may cancel your Plan at any time by contacting us (see “Contact Us”).
If you relocate, you have the following options:
Transfer Option:
Your Plan may be transferred to your new residence, provided it is within our service area. Any remaining balance will be billed and credited toward your new Plan.
Cancellation Option:
If you choose not to transfer your Plan or move outside our service area, the remaining balance will be billed.
You must notify us at least 30 days prior to your move to ensure proper handling.
Within 10 Days:
You are eligible for a full refund if no service has been provided. If service has occurred, the refund will be issued minus the cost of service rendered.
Ineligible Equipment:
If equipment is deemed ineligible and no service has been performed, a refund of up to 12 months of payments may be issued. If service has occurred, a refund of up to 12 months from the last service date may apply.
Able Fix Appliance Repair may modify Plan terms, conditions, or pricing with 30 to 90 days’ prior notice before the Anniversary Date. Any changes will take effect on that date.
Diagnosis Requirements:
Service coverage applies only if the equipment is:
Located within the home’s permanent foundation (excluding outdoor AC units),
Properly installed and fully operational as of the Coverage Date,
Accessible and safe for our technicians to service.
Liability:
While we strive to resolve issues on the first visit, we are not responsible for delays, misdiagnosis, or circumstances beyond our control. Our liability is limited to correcting covered issues only. We are not responsible for consequential damages, pre-existing defects, or equipment covered under a manufacturer’s warranty. All services must be performed exclusively by authorized Able Fix Appliance Repair technicians.
Unavailable Parts or Non-repairable Equipment:
If replacement parts are unavailable or repairs are not economically feasible:
Either party may terminate the Plan, and
A refund of up to 12 months of payments from the last service date may be issued, if applicable.
Repair Warranty:
Covered repairs are warranted for 90 days following service unless a longer warranty is provided by the manufacturer.
This Plan does not cover:
Commercial-use equipment,
Pre-existing conditions,
Misuse, abuse, tampering, or improper installation,
Acts of God, including fire, flood, earthquakes, extreme weather, vandalism, or theft,
Damage caused by pests, mold, rust, corrosion, or hazardous materials (such as asbestos),
Building code violations or required upgrades,
Consumable items (e.g., filters, fuses),
Cosmetic or structural repairs (including walls, ceilings, or flooring),
Unauthorized repairs or third-party service costs,
Equipment covered under manufacturer or builder warranties,
Preventative maintenance unless explicitly stated in writing.
We reserve the right to exclude certain equipment types or models at our discretion.
